Looking for a General Ledger Manager with solid experience in Shared Service Centre environment to supervise and mentor a team of accountants while overseeing the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Our client is a large organization in the Automotive industry, with a global presence. The group is now preparing for the implementation of a new Regional Shared Service Centre.

Descrição

  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of deadlines
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations and adjustments
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies or variances in the general ledger
  • Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries
  • Excellent collaboration with the HQ Accounting team and the regional accounting teams
  • On Time delivery and accuracy of processes
  • Ability to meet deadlines in the closing processes
  • Drive improvements in financial processes
  • Working in a matrix environment

Perfil ideal

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Professional experience of 7+ years in Accounting, including general ledger management
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Leadership experience and skills with performance orientation, good communication skills and assertiveness
  • International financial knowledge or working for a central SSC is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
  • Strong analytical skills and desire to learn
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility
  • Strong commitment, motivation, and high enthusiasm
  • Team player with a good sense for different company/country cultures
